That is why he’s committed to helping his dental patients feel and look their best by achieving their perfect smile. Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?
Ever since he can remember, Dr. Schlessel has loved the idea of having a job where he could work directly with others and make them laugh. Today, his ultimate goal is to change how people view dentistry. It can be a positive and even fun experience!
Where Did You Study Dentistry?
For his undergraduate studies, Dr. Schlessel attended Ohio State University. Following graduation, he pursued his dental doctorate at the University of Tennessee and then took a job at one of Nashville’s most recognized cosmetic and general dental office. After starting a family, though, he knew it was time to head back to Cleveland to be closer to loved ones.
Dr. Schlessel has undergone a lot of continuing education in order to further elevate his craft, including studying advanced cosmetic treatment, occlusion/full mouth restoration, and TMJ treatment through the Clinical Mastery Series in Arizona.
Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?
Dr. Schlessel and his wife Alexis have two daughters named Sylvia and Jane. Outside of working hours, you can typically find him hanging out with his family (especially at the zoo or out on the lake), working out, or playing golf.
